Ranch & Coast is a proud longtime sponsor of e Country Friends Art of Fashion runway show and luncheon in partnership with South Coast Plaza at e Inn at Rancho Santa Fe. e sold-out event on September 12 marks the Ranch-based nonprofit's 70th anniversary and its 20-year partnership with the Costa Mesa shopping destination. So, in this issue, we photograph fall fashion from some of the top international designers and retailers that will soon take to the runway. e Inn provides the perfect stage for the latest styles from such luxury brands as Balmain, Camilla, Lanvin, Max Mara, Michael Kors Collection, and Monique Lhuillier, with dazzling jewelry from Rancho Santa Fe's John Matty (who has generously donated a stunning pair of earrings to the event's live auction). In our monthly "New, Now, Next" column, we focus on fashion in Rancho Santa Fe, including cool new boutiques Isola, Luciana Emilia, and Boulevard, set to open this month. Managing Editor Deanna Murphy profiles San Diego's Catherine Huss, who has launched Siena & Co., designing chic swimwear for the woman "who wants to look sophisticated and elevated, but not show everything."
