TOASTED, LE BAMBOU: PHOTOGRAPHY BY VINCENT KNAKAL What's New The excitement at Del Mar Plaza has undoubtedly returned in recent years, and there's now even more reason to visit the seaside shopping and dining hub. Newly opened (an official celebration is slated for July 18) is Skin Spirit, a skin and body care destination for premium aesthetic services, providing the luxuries of a spa experience with medically-backed treatments. July 13 marks the debut of Yoga Barre, offering heated and non-heated yoga classes, barre sessions, and more, encouraging clients to find their perfect rhythm at this music-driven studio. Following successes in Oceanside, La Mesa, Imperial Beach, and Las Vegas, Toasted Breakfast + Gastrobrunch + Dinner has opened in Del Mar Highlands, replacing the restaurant portfolio's Sammy's Woodfired Pizza. Under the helm of Executive Corporate Chef Alfie Szprethy, Toasted serves brunch and dinner daily, with menu highlights including a selection of "Bennys," loaded toasts, and South of the Border dishes. "Toasted continues to expand in popularity, and we're thrilled to bring it to Del Mar with our most craveable dishes," says owner and renowned restaurateur Sami Ladeki. Return for dinner to try the wagyu burger on brioche or the longtime favorite Balsamic Chicken Salad. The bar showcases crafted cocktails including Bloody Marys and bottomless mimosas by day, and specialty cocktails, beer, and wine to complement the dinner menu.
